Things just do not last forever do they?  Our cars wear out, our roofs need replacing, our bodies grow older.  Strangely enough, even nuclear waste does not stay hazardous forever,.  In this 12 page Greenpeace document it mentions that plutonium will eventually be considered safe in 240.000 years.  Until then it has to be isolated…
